KIDSventure begins September 3rd at 6:30pm and continues until 8:00pm. The children will experience an Adventure Time and a Jesus Connection Time.
KIDSventure begins September 3rd at 6:30pm and continues until 8:00pm. In September, we will be talking about Truth - Jacob and the Blessing, Confidence - Gideon and the Enemy, Wisdom- Rehoboam's Choice and Teamwork - Peter and the Fish. The kids will be encouraged to learn the Theme Verse from Hebrews 12:1, 2: "Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." The college-age, highschool youth and children's ministry volunteers will be assisting with the Adventure time (skills & drills) from 6:30 - 7:15. This will involve the kids (Kindergarten - 5th grade) being able to pick an element they would like to take part in for four weeks - cheerleading/soccer/cooking/experiments & challenges. From 7:20 - 8:00 the kids will come together in small groups for Jesus Connection. This will be the time that they have a snack, hear from God's Word, Scripture Memory & Prayer Time. The 5's & under will do a similar version. Their elements will include (monthly) tumbling/craft/tumbling/games. Their Jesus Connection time will follow their elements.
